Techincally, the idea for Purely Heterosexual has been around since slashers started pondering questions such as Could Erik/The Persian be a good pairing?, What if Christine falls for Carlotta?, Is it me, or does the movie make Meg/Christine a very good idea? and other similar ponderings. Finally, a group of people on Livejournal conspired to make Patricia create a site. Since Patricia is so easy to convince, she went to work on it. And so Purely Heterosexual was born! It started on geocities, then when everyone rushed in and the site crashed, Stef was a total sweetheart and let us stay at her domain. Name of the site was suggested by Jess and is from a quote of Susan Kay's novel Phantom. While the name may seen out of place, believe me, is not that far away ;)

This is Version 1, Operatic GenderF****, and uses images from ThePhantom.org, PSP 8.0, html-kit and lots of wine while listening to Davis Gaines. Layout was made by Patricia.
